Product Overview
The combined handgrip/pinch dynamometer manufactured by Vernier, Canada is the perfect tool for a quantitative measure of handgrip force or pinch force in clinical settings. It works in a measurement range from 0-135 lb-F (0 to 600N). The sensor does not require any setup calibration and has plug-in functionality for the MyoSystem 1400A/L, the TeleMyo System 2400 and the NEW hand-held system MyoTrace 400.

Product features
The durable and solid built sensor can be used both for measurements and biofeedback training of handgrip and pinch force. The sensor has a predefined measurement setup configuration in all the Noraxon software packages and is operational in a few seconds.

Application Examples
The isometric handgrip dynamometer can be used in a variety of application areas (e.g. ergonomics, sports science, medical and clinical research). Grip force may also be used in investigations for elderly people, fatigue studies, disability assessment for neurological patient and combined measurements of force and EMG.

Handgrip measurement
The handgrip sensor is plugged into any analog input channel of the Noraxon cable or telemetry system, autocalibrated and ready to measure.

Pinch force measurement
A special contact area allows the measurement of pinch force with the same device.
