Note: Seminarsprache Englisch / The seminar is held in english.

This one-day-seminar will focus on practical applications of quick and easy
measurements (5-10 minutes) to gain objective data of muscle function associated
with temporomandibular dysfunction. We will mainly look at EMG-based protocols,
which may be assisted by additional kinematic measurement routines. The primary
idea is to establish easy to use, objective measurement routines that are
clinically meaningful and discuss treatment-strategies as well.
The participants will have the opportunity to perform measurements on their
own to get a hands-on-feeling for the techniques. Active users will have the
opportunity to exchange experiences, whereas beginners interested in performing
EMG measurements in the clinic will receive a comprehensive introduction to
EMG, application and interpretation of the data.
